GANTRAN 856 mapping technique

Steps to Use of Accumulator on 856 Map.

1. Generate 856 map by using New Map Wizard.

2. Copy 1000_HL-M-200000 group and paste repeatedly like the following structure:

HLS …………………………........Shipment Hierarchical Level

HLE …………………………Equipment Hierarchical Level

HLO …………………Order Hierarchical Level

HLP ……………Pack Hierarchical Level

HLI ………Item Hierarchical Level

Paste each HL after 1600_V1-C-999998 group of previous HL group.

Note: Here I only take HLS, HLE, HLO and HLI.Actually you can use only 4 accumulators (0, 1, 2, 3).So one group will be optional from above mentioned structure.

3. For first HL(HLS)

On 0628 element, do the followings.

Select standard rule for this element use accumulator.

Click on and do the following as shown in fig.

Once again click on button and do the following as shown in fig.

After this it look like

Hardcode “S” on the 0735 element (as per your mapping guide);

4. For HL (HLE)

On 0628:2 element, do the followings.

Select standard rule for this element use accumulator.

Click on New button and do the following as shown in fig: 1.

Once again click on button and do the following as shown in fig.

On 0734:2 element, do the followings

Select standard rule for this element use accumulator.

Click on button and do the following as shown in fig

Hardcode “E” on the 0735:2 element (as per your mapping guide);

5. For HL (HLO)

On 0628:2 element, do the followings.

Select standard rule for this element use accumulator

Click on button and do the following as shown in fig: 1

Once again click on button and do the following as shown in fig.

On 0734:3 element, do the followings

Select standard rule for this element use accumulator.

Click on button and do the following as shown in fig

Hardcode “O” on the 0735:3 element (as per your mapping guide);

6. For HL (HLI)

On 0628:4 element, do the followings.
